Central Bank of Iran is to strengthen management of the foreign currency market, said head of Central Bank of Iran Ali Salehabad, Trend reports citing IRAN.
Some of Iran's blocked assets abroad have been released, and this allowed to expand the CBI's capacity to manage the foreign currency market, he said.
The CBI is accelerating the return of export revenues back to the country based on specific mechanisms, he indicated.
Also, Iran's Central Bank is planning to launch use of the country's national cryptocurrency in the near future, Salehanabad said.
