Tel Afar, IRAQ : Victory against ISIS

The entire Ninive plain is now free from ISIS as Iraqi PM Haider Al Abadi declare victory agaisnt the terror organisation in the region.
In a bit more than a week the Iraqi army along with the Popular Mobilisation Unit (PMU; "Hashd Al Shabi") liberated the the city and surrounding villages. The PMU besieged the city while the regular Iraqi Army took it.

The only territory still in ISIS control are the pocket of Hawija and Al Qaiem city at the border with Syria.
