I thought the idea of Steemit was based on a way for content creators to get paid for their work. As in an artist to get paid for their artwork, a story teller to get paid for their story, a independant news source to earn income.

Bots should have never been allowed in the first place. It is a way for the lazy to get paid for doing NOTHING. An I say that with a very detailed knowledge of creating bots. I have made them all the way back to the days of IRC.

Way I see it bots are like the author has implied a plague for Steemit run by the basically lazy that want something for basically nothing.

Just more chitbags wanting something for nothing.
