Oracle of Isaiah: The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding

In the first part of the book of the prophet Isaiah there is a set of oracles that make up the Book of Immanuel. Isaiah facing the chaos and destruction of his time, the reign of King Ahaz, prophesies the arrival of a new Messiah who will establish the definitive peace among men and a new empire of God, Isaiah explains to us that God's plan is in development and that God from his eternal providence he establishes everything with perfection.
Isaiah in a beautiful oracle describes the personal characteristics of the new Messiah who must fulfill a prophetic design:
"A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of might,
the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD—
and he will delight in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,
or decide by what he hears with his ears;
but with righteousness he will judge the needy,
with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;
with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
Righteousness will be his belt
and faithfulness the sash around his waist.", Isaiah 11:1-5

Isaiah is announcing the arrival of Jesus and explains that in Jesus the fullness of the gifts of the spiritual man will be given: the fear of the Lord, the righteousness, the wisdom, the advice, the knowledge, and the discernment.
Being filled with the holy spirit means knowing how to do the correct thing because it is the correct thing to do. Doing only what is convenient for us sooner or later leads us to error. Jesus comes with a mission, to rehabilitate and give freedom to the oppressed through the wisdom and the science. That is why he tells us that he comes to do exact justice, not through what others tell him but through the advice of God (listen, meditate with intuition and inspiration, decide).
In Jesus the prophecies about this child, Emmanuel, who is to come, are fulfilled.
