The meaning of the prophecies: "See, I will create new heavens and a new earth". Isaiah 65:17

Isaiah is the prophet most cited for his importance in the New Testament, in his book there is what is known as the "apocalypse of Isaiah", there the prophet speaks not of an "end of the world" but of a "fulfillment of the times ": ignorance must give way to knowledge, just as darkness must give way to light.
At this end of the times, the old must give way to the new, Isaiah describes the establishment of this new Kingdom of God among men:
"See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.
But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.
I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.
Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years: the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.", Isaiah 65:17-20.

Jesus always mentions the prophets of the Old Testament and asks us to live alert to the signs of the times, always meditating on the word of God: "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.", Matthew 24:32-34.
All the seers, Nostradamus, Saint Malachy, and Fatima anticipate an end to us and all coincide in a change for the better, the establishment of a spiritual Jerusalem and the arrival of the wisdom among men: "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people", Acts 2:17.
