Aloha!
his dreads is so long I made it my mustache! True story.
Have you ever wondered what people of paradise looks like? No, seriously. No offense because I know it has crossed people's mind of what the heck make up Hawaiian people. I get it. No worries, I got you covered.
Now, here's a thing to remember to keep it very simple; Asian melting pot galore is the makeup of Hawaiian folks. And then there are some that are stationed here for military purposes. Most of those folks are predominately whites. If I didn't mention your specific race, please don't get your panties in a bunch. This is not the place for that.
Anyways, we are very eclectic bunch of people who has somehow been infected by the island bug..."no body gives a rats ass about your race.!!!"
We are people. We are beautiful. We have plenty of flaws, so lets be forgiven...no big deal.
Based on my personal opinion only. Not represented by any or all islands; I stand a lone to give you examples of people living on this island of Oahu. Mind you, these are my friends and my loving family. Lets' explore...
Mariyah, me, Marcos, and my lovely at Mardi Gras. You want some love beads?! Yes, we do celebrate this holiday here. Cheers!
Why are there so many white girls? LOL, stop it silly goose! Look closer, my dear. Me and the girls hanging out at Mai-Tai bar for some football. Good times ladies. Lets' do it again!!!
Da kine brahs and my lovely hardcore extreme hiker lady...I love these guys. We are considered as some of the most hard core hikers on this island. Today we celebrate life via a pool party...
As soon as the performance goes, everything looks lovely and alive. Who cares about what else. Trust me, we were so unsycronized but fun prevailed...
My family but not by blood; hanai, in Hawaiian language. This beautiful lady holding a coconut is an expression of unconditional love. She and her family has done nothing but love me throughout my ups and downs. I love her very much. I'd give the shirt off my back and blood for her undeserving love and kindness towards me. This is my true family.
Well, since we're at it I might as well tell you a secret about me. Here goes...
"Hi. My name is Sophia and I used to live in San Francisco, California. Yes, I was a full on city girl but gave all that up for peace and happiness by moving here to simplicity. I found it. I'm here."
There you have it friends. What people of paradise really looks like based off of my real experiences. I think in all of these photos there are no more than three that are born and raised on the island. I can't make it any more true and authentic of the melting pot as this post, for ya. Please enjoy and ponder.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Lets' start living life with people to the fullest. Until we meet again!
Aloha
