A fourth class municipality at the province of Dinagat Islands, Philippines. A very peaceful place and friendly community. Dinagat province consists of many islands that are worth exploring. It was formerly known as "Mabua" established at the year 1847. As time passed by, changes of government authority had driven the changing of it's name to Loreto, name of the daughter of the governor during that time.
