Mount Hermon Ski Resort

We were touring Israel in summer. We had read about a Ski Resort on Mount Hermon but did not know if it was open in August.

On average, there are 50 days a year when there is enough snow on this part of the mountain for good Snow Skiing.

We drove to the resort to find there were cable cars taking people to the top. What a thrill- we could go up Mount Hermon.

In the summer months the slopes are used for Go-Kart riding.

I would have loved to visit the mount too. I got to know of its existence from the Bible stories.
