It's a little odd that nobody has brought this up (at least nobody of whom I'm aware) in eighty years.

The Israeli/Palestinian conflict isn't a conflict between Israel and Palestine.

  • If it were, Egypt, Kuwait, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia wouldn't have ganged up on Israel in the Six Day War.

  • If it were, Egypt and Syria wouldn't have ganged up on Israel during the Yom Kippur War with the support of many of the aforementioned nations, along with North Korea, Cuba, and Morocco.

The conflict is thousands of years old, and it's not about Israel as a current nation.

The conflict isn't about politics. It isn't about stolen land.

People pretend that it's about stolen land because it's the only way to make the actions of Israel's neighbours palatable for swaths of poorly educated people.

"The last hour won't come before the Muslims would fight the Jews and the Muslims will kill them so Jews would hide behind rocks and trees. Then the rocks and tree would call: oh Muslim, oh servant of God! There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him." - Haidth narrated by Abi Hurira.

Not to mention much of the Catholic rhetoric in regard to the Jews.

The charter of Hamas doesn't call for the death of all Jews, even beyond the destruction of Israel, because they're overly pissed off about land that was allegedly stolen from their grandparents.

They don't want to kill the Jews because the Jews oppressed them into poverty. Most of the Muslim world lives under dictatorships in which very few people enjoy the rights that Muslims enjoy in Israel.

It's all a lie that this is a war between Israel and Palestine.

It's a war between genocidal theocrats who have taken the worst interpretation of Islam and ran with it, and a mostly secular people who just want to live their lives.
