I FINALLY FINISHED MY PORTRAIT OF MIMI
Hello dear friends,
today I finally finished my oil painting on canvas of Mimi, the dog of a friend of mine:-D
I have tried to paint it as close as possible to reality, and below you can see the work step by step:

oggi sono riuscita finalmente a finire il mio dipinto ad olio su tela di Mimi, il cagnolino di una mia amica:-D
Ho cercato di dipingerlo il piú simile possibile alla realtá, e qui sotto potete vedere il procedimento del lavoro:

that is such a cute dog - I love the look that reminds me of Ewoks, the little forest dwellers in Starwars.
Many moons ago I painted a similar dog for a friends dad (it was a birthday present), he was so emotional about it, he cried. I done the dog from a photo, because the dog passed away years earlier, but he could not forget his precious buddy.

Hola carolineschell, es un Shih Tzu verdad? O por lo menos se parece mucho, yo es que tuve 2 y se me murieron uno hace 1 año y el otro ya de viejo hace 3 años, y ahora al verlo me has dado una idea para dibujarlos o pintarlos con acuarelas, que a mi hija le haría mucha ilusión. Muy buen trabajo te ha quedado genial. Gracias por compartirlo.
