Hello my Steeming Pals!

Ecco la mia entry (sopra) al contest fotografico "Fiori" proposto da @steemotion nel suo post del giorno 5 Marzo.

Sinceramente non vi so dire di che fiore sia quello che ritratto e tantomeno se si tratta di una specie autoctona o alloctona per il Regno Unito o l'Europa. Posso comunque dirvi che la foto la scattai presso Holland Park, a Londra nel mese di giugno 2017.

Come vedete, oltre al mio interesse per questi fiori un pò strani vi fu pure quello delle alcune api le quali mal sopportarono mia presenza ingombrante in mezzo a loro. Mi invitarono ad andarmene e a lasciarle lavorare in pace!

Diaframma aperto al massimo (f 1.8) sulla mia Nikon 1J5, con qualche incertezza forse nella messa a fuoco. Spero che il risultato vi piaccia.

The picture above is my entry to @steemotion's photo contest as per his post dated Monday, 5th March.

To be honest, I have no idea what the flower in the picture is called nor can I say for sure whether it's an exotic variety from outside the UK or Europe for that matter either. What I can say however, is that I took this shot in Holland Park in London in June 2017, on bright sunny day.

Clearly I wasn't the only one with an interest in the bulb like bloom. The local bees loved the flowers too and were busy harvesting all the nectar they could. Unfortunately they took a dislike to my clumsy presence and urged me to move along quickly.

Of course the f-stop on my little Nikon 1J5 was open to the max at 1.8 and getting good focus was tricky. Hope you like the result.
