Nella maggior parte dei cantieri si utilizza il massetto tradizionale in sabbia-cemento; quello che stò proponendo io, in questo post, è una variante studiata apposta per il riscaldamento a pavimento.
Per la realizzazione di questo massetto, i passaggi da eseguire, sono pochi e semplici:

• Posizionamento di ragnetti in metallo sparsi in tutte le stanze; servono per stabilire la quota del nostro massetto;

In most construction sites, the traditional sand-cement screed is used; what I am proposing, in this post, is a version designed specifically for underfloor heating.
For the construction of this screed, the steps to be carried out are few and simple:

• Placement of metal spiders scattered in all rooms; they are used to determine the height of our screed;

• Cospargere un po' di sabbia nelle varie fessure o punti deboli; impediranno al massetto di intrufolarsi in punti indesiderati;

• Spread a little sand in the various cracks or weak spots; they will prevent the screed from sneaking into unwanted areas;

• Stesura di massetto autolivellante tramite autopompa e tubi snodati per districarsi all'interno della abitazione;

---

• Stretching of self-levelling screed by means of self-pump and articulated pipes to unravel inside the house;

• Modellamento del massetto con apposito strumento.

• Modeling the screed with a suitable tool.

Dopo 24 ore dalla stesura del massetto, si può iniziare a camminare sopra, naturalmente senza fare grossi lavorazioni perchè deve ancora maturare bene.
Passati 3 giorni, si può accendere il riscaldamento a pavimento per fare il processo di shock termico al massetto.
Consiste nel aumentare giorno dopo giorno la temperatura della caldaia da 30° fino a 55° e poi diminuirla mano a mano che passano i giorni.
La sua durata è in funzione al tipo di pavimento che si poserà:

• Piastrelle in gres porcellanato shock termico di 10 giorni;
• Parquet shock termico di 30 giorni.

Una volta terminato questo processo di asciugatura, si dovrà stendere un primer apposito e il giorno dopo si può procedere alla posa del pavimento.
Pregi di questo massetto:

• Facilità di esecuzione in opera con risparmio di tempo;
• Ad asciugatura completa, ci ritroviamo un massetto completamente liscio che facilita la posa in opera dei pavimenti interni;
• Non necessita di giunti per la dilazione, quindi avremo il nostro futuro pavimento tutto continuo, senza tagli in corrispondenza di porte o in mezzo alle stanze con ambienti troppo grandi;
• Il massetto autolivellante in anidride naturale trasmette meglio il calore del riscaldamento a pavimento; quindi possiamo abbassare di qualche grado la temperatura impostata sulla caldaia (risparmio di metano).

Difetti di questo massetto:

• Il massetto autolivellante in anidride naturale costa il 30-35% in più rispetto al massetto tradizionale in sabbia-cemento.

After 24 hours from the laying of the screed, it is possible to start walking on it, of course without having to do big jobs because it still has to mature well.
After 3 days, the underfloor heating can be switched on to make the process of thermal shock to the screed.
It consists of increasing the temperature of the boiler day after day from 30° to 55° and then decreasing it as the days go by.
Its durability depends on the type of floor that will be installed:

• Porcelain stoneware tiles with thermal shock of 10 days;
• Parquet flooring thermal shock of 30 days.

Once this drying process has been completed, a special primer must be applied and the next day the floor can be laid.
Please take advantage of this screed:

• Ease of execution on site with time saving;
• After complete drying, we find a completely smooth screed that facilitates the installation of internal floors;
• It doesn't require joints for the extension, so we will have our future flooring completely continuous, without cuts in correspondence of doors or in the middle of rooms with too large rooms;
• The self-levelling screed in natural anhydride better transmits the heat from underfloor heating; therefore, we can lower the temperature set on the boiler by a few degrees (methane saving).

Defects of this screed:

• The self-levelling screed in natural anhydride costs 30-35% more than the traditional sand-cement screed.
