Me ne vado da YouTube??

Fantastic analysis of the current situation. Unfortunately, I have to agree that in terms of almost all practical aspects of streaming video, yt has a unique position. I am impressed that you not only analyze the alternatives on paper but actually created a profile and posted videos on each of them. Great stuff. yt has a massive first-mover advantage. In addition there is the fundamental issue of de-centralized solutions trying to compete with centralized. Udi Wertheimer (the technical deep-dive troll on crypto-Twitter) pointed me to this video of moxi on centralized vs de-centralized solutions. I thought the talk was worth the 45 minutes (unless you are interested in his personal experience with jet-lag you may want to start start at 2:40). Personally I bought some D.Tube coins out of idealistic reasons. IMHO every youtuber needs a de-centralized alt: you need to realize that your access, your rights, your content is at the mercy of Youtube and as some have seen in the last weeks; you can lose in an instance and without notice.
