Two weeks ago, I found myself in Kathmandu, Nepal for a work trip and had the pleasure of staying near Boudhanath Stupa. One of the largest stupas in the world, this UNESCO site was badly damaged after the 2015 earthquakes. It took about a year and a half, but in late 2016 it re-opened to the public. If you go early or late, it will be crowded, but not with tourists - the locals come out in mass to circumambulate the stupa. Feel free to join them, but don't forget to only walk clockwise please!

Interesting ,why should it be clock wise direction.... Beside I'm not there to circumambulate the premises with the locals but as a tourist...
