Unforgettable Italy

Due anni fa, quando ancora non si parlava di Covid, ho avuto la fortuna di poter visitare una splendida città come Pisa, assieme a tutta la mia family.
Inutile dirlo: quando si entra in Piazza dei Miracoli, che sia giorno o che sia sera, si rimane estasiati dalla bellezza di tale posto.
La Toscana è una regione stupenda, tutti i suoi borghi nascondono meravigliosi spunti fotografici, per poi raggiungere il culmine nelle città d’arte.
E vogliamo parlare della cucina? Appena arrivati, non ci si può esimere dal sedersi a tavola davanti ad una fiorentina e ad un bicchiere di Chianti. Qui non si scherza...
Ricordo ancora la bellissima calda serata a passeggio per Pisa, difficile da dimenticare, come impossibile dimenticare la salita sulla torre pendente conosciuta in tutto il mondo…
Scherzi a parte, anche se il costo dell’ingresso è, a mio avviso, piuttosto elevato (18€ a testa per una normale famiglia, aimè, non sono pochi), considerate che non si capita spesso in questa città, per cui vi invito ad approfittare del momento e salire.
Appena entrati all’interno della torre, ci si rende conto che qualcosa non va e fin dai primi gradini si può accusare una leggera nausea a causa dell’inclinazione della torre.
Salire una scala a chiocciola inclinata, rinchiusa fra due mura, anche se provvista di varie “finestre”, è una strana sensazione. Ho visto diverse persone fermarsi a metà strada: i suoi 294 gradini si fanno sentire, per questo suggerisco di salire di sera, specialmente durante la stagione estiva.
Ad ogni modo, una volta giunti in cima alla torre, ho subito ammirato la Cattedrale di Pisa e non ho resistito: immediatamente ho scattato la foto che vi mostro.
Lo so che a voi dirà ben poco, ma per me è il ricordo di un felice periodo di vacanza, quando ancora non si sapeva cosa, da lì a poco, sarebbe successo in tutto il pianeta.

Two years ago, when there was still no talk of Covid, I was lucky enough to visit a beautiful city like Pisa, along with my whole family.
Needless to say, when you enter the Piazza dei Miracoli, whether it's day or night, you are enraptured by the beauty of such a place.
Tuscany is a beautiful region, all its villages hide wonderful photographic cues, and then reach the peak in the cities of art.
And what about the cuisine? As soon as you arrive, you cannot avoid sitting down at the table in front of a Florentine steak and a glass of Chianti. Here you do not joke ...
I still remember the beautiful warm evening walking around Pisa, hard to forget, as impossible to forget the climb up the world famous leaning tower...
Jokes aside, although the cost of admission is, in my opinion, quite high (18 € per head for a normal family, aimè, are not few), consider that it does not happen often in this city, so I invite you to take advantage of the moment and climb.
As soon as you get inside the tower, you realize that something is wrong and from the first steps you may feel a little nauseous because of the inclination of the tower.
Going up a sloping spiral staircase, enclosed between two walls, even though it has several "windows", is a strange sensation. I have seen several people stop halfway up: its 294 steps make themselves felt, so I suggest going up in the evening, especially during the summer season.
Anyway, once I got to the top of the tower, I immediately admired the Pisa Cathedral and I couldn't resist: I immediately took the picture I'm showing you.
I know that it will say little to you, but for me it is the memory of a happy vacation period, when we still did not know what, shortly thereafter, would happen around the planet.
