September
September arrives with its rain,
telling me that my lazy days are over.
Time, as it does every year,
will take away this summer too.
But for now, I still have the burn of the sun
and the sweet sea breeze,
until they too become waves of mere memories.
Arriva settembre con la sua pioggia,
a dirmi che sono finite le mie pigre giornate.
Il tempo, come ogni anno,
si porterà via anche quest'estate.
Ma per ora mi restano il bruciore del sole
e la dolce brezza del mare,
fino a quando, anche loro, non saranno onde di soli ricordi.
