Italy, an unexpected encounter!

The ancient Padua is one of the most important cities in northern Italy, and also an important commercial and industrial city in Veneto. Although it only has half a day, it gives me infinite reveries.

San Antonio Church

I have traveled through many places in Europe, and I have seen no less than 30 churches of all sizes. This is really the most amazing one I have ever seen.

The various small churches inside have different styles, the roofs with reliefs are amazing, and the golden pagodas dedicated to the saint's relics (chins, vocal cords, etc.) are shining...

Padua Palace of Jurassic

The gorgeous Gothic building is 81.5 meters long, 27 meters wide and 24 meters high. It is known as the largest unsupported roof in Europe!

It was the former old city hall. It used to be connected to the building next to it (the prison at the time) by a corridor, and criminals were sent directly to the prison through the corridor after being sentenced.

I ran into a grocery store on the side of the road. The items inside displayed a sense of sight from the 1980s. Rare Chinese goods appeared in such a scene, and there was really some crossing.

University of Padua

Another highlight of Padua is the University of Padua. It is not only the third oldest university in Europe after the University of Paris and the University of Bologna, but also the location of the first anatomical laboratory in Europe. It has made great contributions to human medicine and anatomy.

It is worth mentioning that Galileo coached here from 1592 to 1610.

Pedrochi Cafe

Pedroci Cafe was built in 1831 in a neoclassical style, fresh and bright, the walls of the cafe still retain bullet holes left by the war.

Entering the gate, from the far left, there are three halls, "White Hall", "Red Hall", and "Green Hall". For their walls, window lattices, tables and chairs, and all utensils, take the same color of milky white, wine red, Emerald green, with different styles, but with a soft, harmonious and interesting beauty.

From the cafe, there is still some time before dinner. A large number of tables and chairs are waiting for you on the Plaza of the Lords. The holy Jesus light once again descends on the top of the white bell tower. At this moment, my heart is still like water...

The weather gradually cleared before sunset. Walking along the rain-stained ancient stone road, it seemed to have an indescribable "skin relationship" with the entire ancient European civilization. The closer you get, the more you understand, and the more you understand, the more you will stimulate your curiosity to explore.

I have been to Europe several times, but no one can compare with this trip to Italy. My eyes have "gluttonous" so many valuable historical sites, and my ears have heard so many people's past. If you ask me the meaning of traveling? Probably it is to use the ever-increasing knowledge to enrich my heart
