I have recently had large numbers of visitors coming to the IP Address Guide in order to find information on how they can stream ITVPlayer abroad. I am not sure what really caused this, but I guess it is a combination of an increased interest in the topic, and also the fact that Google somehow gave the article a better ranking than it has had in the last couple of years. Anyway, I am really grateful for this.
I am, though, wondering what people are actually streaming on ITV? Are they watching Emmerdale and other popular ITV original programs? Are they watching the Tour de France highlights? Or which are the programs attracting thousands of people to online streaming on ITV daily?
It isn't easy to stream ITV abroad.
It is also crucial to understand that it can be quite complicated to stream ITV abroad. More and more VPN providers are blocked by ITV, and that is why you will struggle finding services actually unblocking ITV.
I have tried several different VPN providers, and quite a lot of them fail at unblocking ITV, including ExpressVPN. The latter has been very good at unblocking for years, and it still is, but now it seems to me as if they are struggling with ITV. Surfshark, however, is working well and it is currently the VPN I use whenever there is content I want to stream on ITV Hub.
