Are children the promise of a better future? Of course they are.

Recently I have retaken my publications in the tribe reggaesteem, which I recommend to all, not only for being able to monetize content, but because it allows you to know more about that culture of Jamaica, and everything that pertains to its cultural development, historical, musical, among many other things of the Caribbean.

Today the user @dmilliz has brought a proposal or initiative that I found quite interesting, simple but interesting, and I think it is a good contribution because it provides an alternative for the topics to play within this tribe. To review the proposal click here.

This publication is my participation in this initiative, I liked to investigate because from this confirms me that there are many people wanting to do good, and also sowing a seed in a country, in a continent, in the world, because helping and allowing children to develop their singing skills and any activity is undoubtedly the best thing we can do to ensure a humanity (in the near future) more sensitive.

The image above corresponds to the cover of a musical project that emerged in Jamaica, in which two artists and producers in communion with a company that is responsible for recording, events, among other things, very well known worldwide have given their contribution for this project to be carried out.

Kids Reggae fun with Music

That is the name of this beautiful project in which we can see children singing reggae in a very entertaining way, no doubt enjoying what they do. this first installment has a total of 10 songs, whose names you can see in the picture.

October 18 was the launch of the official video, which you can see below:

Basically the songs have a religious message of hope, to continue believing in the possibility of a better future.

Example, the chorus of the song "I am A Promise":

🎼 I am a promise
I'm a possibility
I'm a promise with a capital "p."
I can be anything, anything God wants me to be 🎶

Baker Productions

Just like they say on their website:

">Baker Productions is a multifaceted company consisting of Audio and Video Recording Studios, Graphics and Design, CD/DVD Manufacturing, Ascap and BMI Music Publishing, Audio/Video Transfer Service, Audio and Video Installation for Churches and Schools. " Source

It is a great company that has the possibility of carrying out many activities in the cultural field, and the support it has given to this project has been simply indispensable for the idea of the two great musicians (of whom I will talk a little later) to have become a reality.

Sly & Robbie

Both musical artists who managed to transcend far beyond the Jamaican music scene, Sly Dunbar is a talented drummer and Robbie Shakespeare is a bassist, both have decades working together as Sly & Robbie, according to some statistics estimate that they have played together more than 200,000 songs, yes, a figure that virtually no other musician or musical group has managed to reach.

There is no doubt that these projects are a light for young people, who many times (in all countries of the world) see their dreams limited and the possibility of getting to do more by many barriers, than luck that there are those who are willing to tear them down.

We'll keep hearing from these kids, I'm sure we will.

I invite you to be part of

Yeah @crypticat, how much potential isn't there hidden around? I think it's part of how good these kinds of initiatives are.

It's great for motivation

Almost always behind every project there's a great story. What I didn't see was information about why Sly & Robbie decided to do this project, perhaps because it's still very new, you have to give time to see what they say was their motivation. Thank you @dmillizfor this initiative
