Give thanks for a moment of your time to meet Dj Blackness from Mallorca

Wha gwaan brothers and sisters from the tribe?!

This is my first post in #JAHM and I am super excited to write this for you.

This summer I went to a Reggae festival here in Palma de Mallorca. Mallorca is a Spanish island in the south of Europe.

The festival was Reggae Fest Mallorca and it was one of the best experiences since I live here on this tropical Island. I am, like almost everybody here, an immigrant.

When smoking #ganja with some Rastafarian from my suburb one of them was talking about a gal that plays later with Ganjoman. Also a local #Rasta who earned a lot of respect here on the Balearic Island.

The gal is called dj blackness and started her music career in 2006 in Caracas Venezuela. She moved in her teens to Mallorca and lives here ever since. She plays a lot at local Reggae bars and on the Spanish Peninsula.

A few hours later the gig started. I couldn't be more impressed when the beats tickled my ears. A warm sensational feeling and when closing my eyes I could feel myself flying to the stars. Or was this the ganja kicking in. I don't remember.

This is not the original track, but this is what they played for us that night. I am curious what you think about this song. I feel this needs some love from I and I.

Like almost every #Reggae song, it is about Babylon and Ras Tafari Haile Selassie. They sing about Jah Jah and the African Suppression and that they welcome you in Zeon.

The following hour was one of total relaxation and I knew this moment was one I would remember for a fucking long time.

The nice thing about these festivals is that the Babylon(aka popos or police) is nowhere to be seen and they just stay behind the fenced area of the festival park. #Weed is not legal here, it was, but some dumbo politicians decided no man.

She also played some covers from the greatest Reggae artist ever lived on this fucked-up planet. I want to share this with you too because these songs are in my opinion never beat.
