Just did some online shopping (i mean you know, luke's gotta eat with a cat to feed) and as i have noticed my backpack (my own inflation basket) moving from €25 to €30 to €38 to around €50 for the same volume (BEFORE covid) whats happening lately ...

flour is rationed (theres a war in belgium after all !) - .. oil is on the edge and derivatives are starting to feel it but today ..

macaroni or base paste (flour) went from about 0.35 to 0.55 ... basmati rice doubled in price to €2 for a kilo .. you could say

HEY , thats because of (the americans and EU supporting) the (by now 110-120 days and actually no more than that) war in ukraine and we being solidair and paying for that in the name of freedom

and good ... (not that its helping imo i still feel zelensky should have went in exile and surrendered, the whole country would be standing, families would be together, kids would be in school and the EU would buy grain from russia io ukraine and to the gatplebs here it wouldnt make 1 iota)

combo with gimp, blender , lmms, unity and unigine

you basically have a studio (if you have 50 starving artists who do the design for free while you direct that is)

The thing here is not copy-pasting montmartre into the commercial district of the city , its more about getting a sense of relative sizing and distancing based on real world topology and architecture (its a common thing in games creation btw - you get that "I KNOW THAT THING (or place)" feeling subconsciously

but this is handy, its about 6km² so within the 5x5km i need filling thats a nice piece, i can take the streetplan and division montmartre has, put the temple where the sacré couer stands and fill the back with all those little bars and places they ahve there with the street artists and all that

try fridaynight til saturdaymorning

get the sunrise sitting on the stairs of sacré coeur and all the kids on the hill balling

and then by around 7am everythings clean and ready for the tourists
