Tegapkah
Seribu langkah melaju saling berpegang
Menggenggam tompak penguat langkah
Berjalan beriringan dengan tegap dan gagah
Duri yang ada tak terasa perih
Melaju tanpa menoleh walau sejenak
Tegapkah,
Tegapkah jika hanya sebagai pengikut saja
Melangkah tanpa tahu arah sesungguhnya
Dia melaju terus dan terus
Namun, saat ada emas langkahnya terhenti
Dia terbuka akan belaian kilauaan itu
Tegapkah,
Saat kekokohan diri telah dirasukki sekeping dusta
Dusta ingin melangkah namun terhalang materi
Saat tahta dan harta membumbui diri
Seaakan lupa rasa asinnya garam.
