JAPAN: "Super Potato" Vintage Video Game Store in Akihabara, Tokyo

in japan •  7 years ago

I wanted to share a few shots from one of my favorite places in Tokyo, a city that can be so bright and bewildering and strange as a foreigner, but one where you can find such glorious memories and hints of nostalgia, even if you grew up on the other side of the Pacific.

This is "Super Potato," the "legendary" retro gaming shop in Tokyo's Akihabara District. Enjoy, and pay it a visit if you make it over to the Land of the Rising Sun sometime.

P.S. Don't forget to take seat on the "Throne of Games" (not to be confused with the "Game of Thrones" while you're there.
