Off the Beaten Path Japan Travel Destination

For anyone interested in Japanese Motorsports I recommend traveling an hour south of Tokyo by bullet train to Hamamatsu In Shizuoka Prefecture!

Hamamatsu

Hamamatsu is the home city of Suzuki, Honda and Yamaha! All three giant manufacturers have their head offices in Hamamatsu. Yamaha and Suzuki also have company museums in the city which have a lot of classic cars and bikes on display as well as English language tours and guides.

Also Kawaii and Roland (as well as Yamaha) have their head offices in Hamamatsu. These musical instrument manufacturers all combined in one city have caused Hamamatsu to be dubbed 'the city of music' within Japan.

Aside from all that the food is great, the people are friendly, and hotels are reasonably priced compared to Tokyo and other bigger cities. Also the nearby Hamana Lake is famous for its Onsen (Natural Hot Spring Baths).

Come to visit Hamamastu for a unique and off the beaten path Japanese travel experience!

This is a nice post. A little more information would make it great! For example, where are these museums in the city? How much do they cost? What hours are they open?

Also, what restaurants or local food do you recommend, and what is your favorite vehicle on display in the museums you mentioned?

Small details like those, plus another picture or two would really make this post fantastic.

Btw, welcome to Steemit.

Good points thanks. I was just being lazy haha. Perhaps Ill edit it or just remake it soon. Cheers from Japan!
