When you are lost and don't know where a place is you can nicely ask someone:

🇯🇵 [PLACE] wa dokodesuka?

🇯🇵 [PLACE] は どこですか

🇬🇧 Where is [PLACE]?

In Japanese "Jikan" translates to time ⌚

If you don't have a watch handy and you'd like to know the time you can nicely ask someone:

🇯🇵 Nanji desu ka?

🇯🇵 何時ですか

🇬🇧 What time is it?

If you'd like to know how long it takes to go to a said place you can also nicely ask:

🇯🇵 Jikan wa donokurai kakarimasuka?

🇯🇵 時間 は どのくらい かかりますか

🇬🇧 How long does it take?
