Kowtow is one of Japan's ceremonies.
When someone is apologizing for the senior partner and do it when asking for forgiveness.
It is said that it is a custom from Japan and that the beginning dates back to Yamatai dynasty.
In the Edo period, people were allowed to obtain the permission of the opponent by making a subordinate position against the other party.
At the time of election, candidates may often sit down to vote for voters.
