Have you ever donated your hair before?
When I was in Canada, there was an event for hair donation at school and some students were shaving their head to donate their hair, it was such a shocking experience for me.
Today I will share my hair donation experience in Japan!
I was growing my hair for 5 years to donate my hair, I wanted to make them as long as possible because I know that it is very hard to make long hair wig since there are not many super long hairs are donated.
Taking care of my super long hair was so tiring...
I often sat on my hair by accident, drying my hair took long time, when I used bathroom I had to put them around my neck like a scarf :P
However thinking about making someone happy encouraged me to take care of them well!
This is me with long hair!
At hair salon! They tie up hairs with rubber band like that.
They let me cut my own hair a little but I messed up... I cut them too much...so my hair got shorter than we planned XD
I donated 50cm long! Beautiful!
My head felt so light, it took me a while to get used to it but I was really amazed how fast I could dry my hair!
My hair was donated to make wigs for kids who lost their hair by cancer, accident and other illness. I believe helping others is very important to create better world. So Let's help each other, little things can change the world! We only need to take a little step forward :)
今日は私のヘアドネーション経験のお話をしますね！
私は髪を寄付するために５年間髪を伸ばし続けて５０cm寄付しました♬
３１cm以上で寄付はできるのですが、長ければ長い程よろこばれます
なぜなら、ロング（そんなに長くないミディアムくらい）のウィッグを作る事ができるからです、３１cmだとショートのウィッグが作れます。
実際あまりスーパーロングの髪が寄付される事はあまりないのでロングの人毛ウィッグはとても珍しいです。
なのでせっかく伸ばすのだからもっと為になる方をと思い伸ばし続けました♬
トイレに入る時は首にまきつけないとダメだし、髪を乾かすのは凄く時間かかるし、座る時に髪の毛に座って首が立つ時グキッてなるしロングをキープするのはとても過酷でした
でも、誰かのためになると考えると頑張ろう！という気持ちになれました
寄付した髪は小児がんや先天性無毛症などの病気や不慮の事故で髪をなくした１８歳以下の子供や女性に無償で提供されます。
もし今髪を伸ばしていて切ろうかなと考えている方はぜひチャレンジしてみてはいかがでしょうか？
自分の髪が誰かのためになる、誰かに喜んでもらえる、皆がハッピーになれる素晴しい活動です♬
ちなみに私の妹も髪をスーパーロングにして２年前に寄付しました、それから伸ばし続けているのでもうすぐまた寄付する予定です☆

You need 30 people's hair to create 1 wig, so not wonder it's expensive!
