I got a souvenir from Jaga Pokkuru of Hokkaido Limited of Calbee. There is also a commodity called Jagabee which is released in the country with similar products in Calbee but the Jaga Pokkuru is made with potatoes from Hokkaido, sticking to the salt from Okhotsk and making it extremely difficult to manage even in the manufacturing process I will.
I feel a crispy texture like a Jaga Pokkuru as it is freeze-dried. The salty taste of the potato is mild, the taste has deepness, and it is finished to make it feel elegance. The biggest difference with Jagabee is the texture. It is also a popular souvenir in Hokkaido.

じゃがポックルは北海道産のじゃがいも、オホーツク産の塩にこだわり
製造過程でも非常に管理を厳しくして作られています。
じゃがいもをそのままフリーズドライしたかのようなサクサクとした食感がします。
じゃがポックルの塩味はマイルドで、味は深みがあり、上品さすら感じさせる仕上がりとなっています。
じゃがビーとの一番の違いは食感ですね。
北海道でも人気のお土産となっています。

Jaga Pokkuru look like the fresh potato. I am not sure if I ever had freeze dried. But it did look tasty to eat. When I was in Hokkaido, the food was very good there. So your Jafa Pokkuru must have been equally great. Have a great weekend Kinakomochi! :D
