"Always have a big accident once every four years"

When I was a college student, I was a little scared of the way of thinking of the person in the club I was in.

I happened to be in the next seat with the person at a social gathering, and we introduced ourselves and talked to each other. It is said that the person always has a big accident once every four years, and it becomes hospitalization. I don't remember the details, but when the one was four and eight, I remember only the impression that it seemed hard.

I was also shown the scars. There were still some that were a little surprising.

But the story of the accident at the age of 12 was strange because the person said for sure "I had fallen off a cliff when I was in my 12th year." Until now, it was a normal way of expressing age, but at that time, "in my 12th year"? I concerned. It was even weirder when the person was 16 years old. The one raised spirits because it was likely to become 17 years old safely, and had an accident with ride double on a gang's motorcycle. You wanna get in an accident, don't you? I thought.

I vaguely thought the person lived life in according with own delusion, but actually more than that.

When the person turned 20, I was horrified to see the one coming and going back and forth on a busy national highway which is close to my campus. There was no pedestrian crossing. The person wasn't waiting for the car to stop, but dashing. Of course, cars stopped because it got scared, and the drivers got angry and honked loudly.

The scene was strange, "uh, what are you doing?" I spoke to the person levity, the one said "I wanted to have an accident early because I am 20 years old."

I wonder if there are a lot of people who think like this? I can't think of it. It may not be scary to hear objectively, but when you see it, you'll be really scared.
