仮想通貨取引所大手コインチェックの大塚雄介取締役は28日夜、記者団に対し、不正に流出した580億円分の仮想通貨「NEM（ネム）」について、国内外の取引所に売買や出金の停止を要請したことを明らかにした。
大塚氏は「流出後の経路を追うことができる。どこにあるのか把握している。現金化された痕跡はない」と強調。現在、流出したネムを取り戻す方法を検討していると説明した。
