"The Stupid God", according to President Duterte

First, the #CatholicChurch.

Now, God himself.

President Rodrigo Duterte, in an article released by Abs-Cbn News has unleashed his latest attack. The leader of the over 80 million Filipino Catholics called God "stupid", and questioned His logic and the Bible.

The President has long been a staunch critic of the Catholic Church. While I understand and respect his political positions and how it may be contrary to the Church at times, I don't find any reason why he should attack God at all.

I can't help but wonder: is the President an atheist? A humanist? An agnostic? Or a challenged theist? Does he even have a religion?

And what does God have to do with any of his policies? Absolutely nothing.

Mr. President, with all due respect, please remember this:

Every result, every cause and every effect outside natural law is borne out of man’s free will.

Leave God out of the equation.

And the Bible? It is the most reliable book in the world, according to experts.

We all have our sensitivities, the president should be wary of the diverse sensitivities of the people.

And why only the Catholic is being attacked, or the one's being noisy about it?,

Imagine, umatend ng 18th bday ng anak mong babae si Pdutz, then you give him the microphone for a message, sa una nag happy birthday naman, then later, nagkwento, na may kilala sya, nag bday, ...naku ika, pagkakasaya ika, "nagpasayaw"(hope you know what I mean) ng babae, parang 18th years old laang, and then he added jokingly, tsk tsk tsk bakit sayaw lang?....

see what I mean?

It may have been taken out of context and we know media is fond of snipping things here and there to make it sound like how they want it. I'll reserve judgement until I hear the entire speech.

No, its not. There is so many instances that the president can clarify his pronouncements like these, but many of that he didnt backout from he said, yes I agree that he says the truest from his feelings, but is that feelings/opinion appropriate to the occasion he attended to? does he not have any consideration from the sensitivities of other people?

The bible is man-made, and so is religion. That is what I believe tho.

Hmm, I wonder what repercussions he was expecting from that comment. I mean, The Philippines is a devoutly religious country, with Christians and Muslims living together, both believing in the same God. So he insults his citizens...I guess he doesn't care cause he is a one-term President.
