জাম পৃথিবীর প্রাই সব দেশে পাওয়া যাই । এই জাম বিভিন্ন দেশে বিভিন্নি নামে পরিচিত যেমনঃ জাম্বুরা, জাম্বু, জাম্বুলা,জাম,কাল জাম, জামুলা, কাল প্লাগ, ইত্তাদি নামে এই জাম পারিচিত।
বিবরণঃ
এটি দেখতে আইয়াতাকের মত প্রাই ১ থেকে ২.৫ সি.মি এর মত লম্বা হইয়া থাকে। পাকা জামের রং বিশেষ করে কাল হইয়া থাকে। এবং কাচা থাকা কালিন এটি সুবুজ হইয়া থাকে। এটি অত্তান্ত মজাদের একটি ফল। জাম গাছে মার্চ এপ্রিল এর দিকে ফুল আসে । এখন এপ্রিল মাস চলছে । তার মানে এখন ফুল আসার সময় হইয়াচে। অনেকে এই জামের জন্য দেরি করতেছে । জাম সবারি পছেন্দের একটি ফল।
বিস্তারঃ
জাম ভারতে উৎপত্তি হইয়াচে ।এবং ভারত থেকে সারা পৃথিবীতে ছড়িছে । আমাদের দেশে ২ রকমের জাম পাওয়া যাই একটি হল খুদি জাত এবং বড় জাত। খুদি জাতের জাম একটু মিষ্টি কম কিন্তু বড় জাত গুলো খুবই মিষ্টি। এটির ভিতরে একটি ছোট আটি আসে । কিন্তু এর পুরোটাই শাস দারা আবদ্ধ ।এবং খূব সুস্বাদু একটি ফল । আমার খূব পছন্দের একটি ফল।
ব্যাবহারঃ
জাম দিয়া খাওয়ার পাশাপাশি অনেক কিছুই করা হচ্ছে। জাম দিয়া জেলী, জুস , চকলেট , ইত্যাদি বানানো হচ্ছে। আবার জাম ঝালাই করে মানে জাম একটু মসল্লা দিয়া খাইতে বেশী ভালো লাগে ।
