Former Flagstaff Police Officer Jeffrey Bonar was recorded on camera delivering a disruption blow to a woman who refused to submit to an arrest. He was eventually indicted by a Grand Jury for assault. His attorney Marc Victor, from the Attorneys For Freedom Law firm, successfully argued the Grand Jury was not given all the facts or the law in this matter.
As a result, the judge threw out the indictment and remanded the case back to a Grand Jury for a new determination of probable cause. Mr. Victor expects to provide additional exculpatory information for the new Grand Jury's consideration in an effort to convince them not to indict his client.
