In today article I am going to be breaking down a couple loafer styles. Loafer styles that I definitely think that should be on your radar and show you how to wear them.
So it’s no secret, there’s ton of different shoe option out there for men and when it comes to loafer there’s quite a few of them as well but I want to kind of highlight to you guys three specific very popular pairs that I definitely think should be on your radar and also probably in your closet. The first one is going to be the horse bit loafer then we’re going to be discussing about penny loafer and finally we’re going too discussed about the tassel loafer.
- HORSE BIT LOAFER:
The horse bit loafer has to be the staple of preppy menswear. It was established basically sixty years ago when Gucci made it famous. These horse bit loafer will be the most comfortable shoe pair you have ever worn. Now the whole shoe is made out of one good solid construction the leather upper and the leather lower. The shoe is super comfortable, super soft and the great thing about preppy horse bit loafer like this is that it can dress up any outfit but still keep you to certain extent casual and comfortable.
- PENNY LOAFER:
Penny loafer can come in two different styles, you got the more casual preppy version which is a little bit more rounded off and I would say more casual and then the other style penny loafer is more refined version which have elongated vamp which makes it a little bit more dressy therefore making it dressier than the horse bit loafer, now the penny loafer is another menswear staple that definitely should be in every man’s closet.
- TASSEL LOAFER:
This is the most people favorite out of any loafer style. Many people always gravitate to the tassel loafer and I don’t know I just feel it like best of both worlds. You can casually wear it with almost anything that you have in your wardrobe but you can also dress it up.
Now I do have to say though that out of the three that I mentioned this is probably the least classic model, I would say probably the penny loafer or the horse bit are more of a staple whereas the tassel loafer really just came into popularity again recently these past couple of years, nonetheless its most people favorite pair to wear and like I would say it’s because so easy to pair with almost anything.
