The mystery of Jesus: You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand. John 13:7

Jesus teaches the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven and tells his disciples that they are not yet ready for the full understanding of these secrets, the disciples still cannot see the world with God's eyes: "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." John 13:7. The Last Supper is the conclusion of the teachings of Jesus.
Jesus washes the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper as a symbol of cleansing not only bodily but also spiritual, Jesus institutes the lavatory, not as a sign of humiliation, but to explain to them that it is necessary to preach by example, the Kingdom of God is server because above all it is sovereign. It seems a contradiction but it is not, a good general must first of all be a good soldier.
For example, in a company, the most humble jobs are the most important, because errors within a chain begins with the weakest and smallest links. In "work ant", is the true strength of every organization, this is the message of Jesus to his disciples. The people who fail are usually the people who neglect the little jobs. Mercy to its last consequences tells us Jesus, because benevolence is wise:
"When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. ´Do you understand what I have done for you?´ he asked them. ´You call me ´Teacher´ and ´Lord,´ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.", John 13:12-17.
