The resurrection of Lazarus. The difference between resurrecting and returning to life.

Thomas Aquinas in his book Summa Theologiae explains that the Immortality is a quality of God. God is inmortal because god is the wisdom itself, to speak of wisdom is to speak of God.
The resurrection is the perfect immortality, that is the immortality with immutability, because any change is like a death.
Jesus in the bible, resurrected and ascended to heaven. The resurrection of the deads appears only at the end of the book of the apocalypse, with the resolution of the problem of evil.
In the correct sense of the expression Lazarus not resurrected, he simply returned from the death, revived.
We must understand that in an eschatological sense according to the Bible, death exists through the entrance of sin in the word. Jesus is free from sin and in consequence of death. That is why Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life", John 11:25
Jesus is "son of man", Jesus personifies the perfections and the qualities of God, in this case ("I am the resurrection and the life") he personifies the resurrection and the life, John 11:25. This is one of the seven "I am" statements of Jesus in the gospel of John. The resurrection and the life, are according to the teachings of the bible gifts.
The bible tells us the story of the resurrection of Lazarus:
"Jesus, once deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. "Take away the Stone", he said.
"But, Lord", said Martha, the sister of the dead man, "by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days".
Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"
So they took away the Stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.
When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!". The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go." John 11:38-43
Jesus said, did not I tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God.jpg
When the bible speaks of the resurrection of lazarus it is expressing a metaphor, the metaphor is a common resource in the Bible.
What the narrator is doing, in this case the disciple John is exalting the figure of Jesus, placing his image above life and death.
