The wisdom of Jesus: Do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. Luke 12:4

The Gospel of Luke tells us that Jesus, after preaching and announcing the good news in Galilee, began his last trip to the city of Jerusalem, where he was going to be crucified.
But during his way to the holy city, the gospel tells us, Jesus left us a set of great teachings that complete the beatitudes of the Sermon on the Mount (Luke 6:30-36). And among these teachings, there is one dedicated, in a spiritual sense, to the true and the false fear. And he taught this with a very important purpose because he knew that he was going to be handed over to his enemies.
Jesus taught us with wisdom that we should not sin to give a good impression to others, when this happens it is because we fear men more than God. Sinning for fear of men, is in the Bible a very frequent sin in powerful men. If we want to follow Jesus and enter his Kingdom this should not happen, the only true fear is the fear of God. This spiritual gift is defined as constancy, firmness, devotion, equanimity, and stability. Our Lord Jesus taught us that this spiritual gift is the good soil in the parable of the sower (Luke 8:4-15); this charism, which is a basic gift, is the gift on which faith is based.
In the gospel of Luke with these words Jesus told us about who we should fear and who not, that is why Jesus advanced us a concept that is mentioned in the Book of Revelation, the concept not of the death of the body but of the death of the soul:
"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows" Luke 12:4-7.
