Integrity means a life of righteousness, mercy, honesty, constancy, firmess. Jesus gives us the example of integrity in the parable of the good samaritan. (Luke 10)
A complete man is the one who in term of excellence and goodness lacks nothing. Integrity is fundamentally the adulthood of man.
The bible explains that the adulthood of man is the conformity to Jesus. And how we achive this conformity? Renewing ourselves in the spirit, receiving a new heart to see the world with the eyes of God, and this is achieve when the world of God bears fruits, as it is explained in the parable of the sower (Matthew 13): those who bear fruits are those who receive the word of god (the knowledge of the correct means to live), retain it, that is they allways keep it in mind, and practice it with constancy (spiritual gift of piety).
The constancy is the path to spiritual illumination. Integrity implies not only rectitude but also continous or constant improvement and this is progressive constancy.
There are parables of Jesus that alludes to the continuous improvement, these the parable of the leaven and the mustard seed:
"The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all sedes, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches."
He told them still another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough." Matthew 13:31-33
Entering the kingdom of God implies constancy, firmness, continuous improvement and rectitude (golden rule, Matthew 7:12)
The life of Jesus's disciples is an example of how to achieve integrity.
The disciples to become men of integrity when they receive a new heart in Pentecost, it is there where the word of God bears fruit and the church is born. (Acts 2:1-4)
