Intro

What is up guys! My name is Robert and I am the Founder of Heirs of Promise. I wanted to write a short little intro just to give an idea of what I will be posting.
I love Jesus (God)! And I have been living the Christian life hardcore for about 14 years now. I have had some ups and downs but my pursuit is unending. I have a strong passion for experiencing God and teaching and sharing with others the very real concept of experiencing God. I live in a constant pursuit of Spiritual/Mystical aspects of the Kingdom of God. In truth I do not refer to them in that manner; mystical, supernatural, experiences. To me it has become the expected and norm. It should be the expected. Our world, creation is amazing and God is everywhere and available always to anyone who wants to connect. To me knowing God is the point of Salvation and you cannot know someone with whom you do not interact. The supernatural, mystical, visions, etc. is just God to me. It is just apart of the Kingdom. Its is God and it comes with being in relationship with Him.
To"know" was to be deeply intimate with. It is why it was often used to describe sexual intercourse. You cannot be intimate with someone you cannot experience or interact with. It would be ridiculous to suppose you knew someone simply because you read about them. God created us to experience our reality through our senses and and he fully expects you to experience His reality through your senses. That being said a lot of my perception and pursuit of God and His Kingdom carry this idea and is often a main plumb line that runs through all that I discuss.

I also have learned to greatly enjoy my life on this Earth. There is no separation for me. I will discuss all aspects of my life on here: News, Politics, Homesteading, Business, Farming, Health, the Spiritual, family, kids, etc.. It will all be integrated because it is all important and a part of the promises that Jesus purchased with His Blood. There is no separation between religion and reality because your religion should be the way you perceive reality. Everything I do is seen through the eyes of someone who knows God and has been given this access by the Sacrifice that Jesus gave.

I hope I can stir up some good musings for people and bring a little entertainment along the way as I share and discuss with you guys about some of my favorite things to do: God, Homesteading, Family.
