Dear saint how have you received Christ?

Have you received him by ritual, rite, or by faith?

Does Christ dwell in your hearts by faith or is he said to be in your hearts through some means of Grace?

The scriptures teach (Titus 3:5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; "

It is only through faith that one can receive Christ because it is only through faith that Christ offers his free gift.

Salvation is not determined or controlled buy any clergy, potentate, Pope or minister: it is brought to the believer by the seeking Christ. You have not chosen me but I have chosen you ( John 15:16) ... These are not the words spoken by any minister, Reverend, or vicar.

The scriptures teach that we are born again not by corruptible seed but of Incorruptible by the word of God.( 1 peter 1:23) For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of Works lest any man should boast.( Ephesians 2:8)

It is not a delegated gift from Adam born Men but only from the God man Christ Jesus.

"As you have received Christ..." Also begs the question: Did you receive him because you needed him or merely to follow others down aisle?

Only those who come to Christ with the great need to have sin forgiven have received him.

The saved are Only those who have been convicted, according to the law of God, of their Rebellion against God , convinced by the Holy Spirit that the offended God is yet merciful and desirous to forgive will receive Them.

Their sin has driven them to the place where there is no other place than the cross of Christ.

There is no other balm of soothing Comfort other than the blood of Christ to wash away all their sin.

And they know it deep in their heart that this is their last Refuge before they come to the abyss known as hell and eternal separation from God.

As you have... received Christ...

Looking unto Jesus as the author and the finisher of your faith... Hebrews 12:2

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: 2 Corinthians 7:10..

A great burden that can only be lifted by the nail-scarred hands...

You are convinced that there is salvation in none other name than Jesus. Acts 4:12

There is but one mediator between God and Men (1 timothy 2:5) MORE TO THE POINT: between God and you.."the man Christ Jesus;" and his name Shall be Called wonderful counselor the Mighty God the Everlasting father and the prince of peace ( Isaiah 9:6)

As ye have ... received Christ

This is how you have received Christ if you have received him.

And if not , YOU HAVE NOT ..
