Today's piece of jewelry is a beautiful 10kt yellow gold, fire opal and tanzanite ladies cocktail ring. I love the flower shape these stones are set to make. I know the pictures do not do this ring justice, the fire opals are absolutely beautiful with flecks of fiery reds and blues. There are 8 beautiful pear shaped tanzanites nestled in the middle and these stones really make the fire opals pop! Tanzanite is part of the Zoisite family and were first discovered in the Sau-Alp mountains in Karnten Austria in 1805. Tanzanites are a more recently discovered precious gemstone and it happens to be one of my favorites!
