I've been meaning to follow-up with a previous blog about my daughter's first find. She dug this 1883 Nickel in our backyard.
For my daughter's birthday I purchased this brass necklace and added the V Nickel she found while metal detecting with her dear old dad. She really loved it and now has unique piece of jewelry to show-and-tell. The sentimental dad hopes that this will be something she treasures her whole life and brings back some great memories of us hunting together!
I found the necklaces on Etsy; which was relatively inexpensive if anyone is interested.
