Guten Tag, Herr Oswald

Say, what was Lee Oswald doing with German flashcards?

Yes, it’s true. He had them in his possession at the time of his death. Well, they were in Ruth Paine’s garage, I guess. Look, you can check it out right here.

Alongside the German flashcards were Russian flashcards.

Oh yeah, baby. Oswald was fluent in Russian to perfection. All his DFW acquaintances said so.

Indeed, he was fluent in Russian even before he went to Russia where he met his future wife who, when she first met him, thought he was native Russian.

Those must have been SOME flashcards.

After a few years in Russia, Oswald returned to America where people generally speak English. So why the need to learn German?

Was Oswald a language nut who enjoyed learning foreign languages for the fun of mastering a foreign language?

Or was he told that he was going to be extracted to Germany after the assassination? Or maybe Guatemala? There are a lot of Germans in Guatemala, no kidding, and our CIA loves Guatemala.

Got to keep those bananas coming.

Perhaps Oswald felt the need to speak natively to members of the DFW community who he had met after returning to America - you know, people like Volkmar Schmidt.

Volkmar Schmidt was a German who was working in the DFW area for Magnolia Oil.

Magnolia Oil was at one time Vacuum Oil and then SOCONY - Standard Oil Company of New York. In later years it merged into Mobil Oil, now ExxonMobil.

Oswald and Volkmar took a particular interest in each other in February of 1963. Volkmar was the room mate of Everett Glover, yes, that Everett Glover, the Everett Glover who knew two principals - Georgie D and Ruthie P - of the JFK Assassination independently before they knew each other. He introduced them so that Ruth Paine could meet George de Mohrenschildt who knew Marina who could be a tutor to Ruth. Apparently there were no other Russians in Dallas to be found.

Say, why not George himself? He liked the ladies.

That notwithstanding, Everett and Volkmar decided that Lee Oswald needed to be vetted. As to why anyone would vet a person thought to be a loudmouthed loser, nobody knows. Usually people walk away from losers. But, alas, they did not.

Volkmar volunteered to vet Oswald. Apparently Volkmar thought himself a master psychologist of sorts.

Volkmar’s surrogate father after all was Professor Wilhelm Kuetemeyer a professor of psychosomatic medicine in Germany who had ties to both Carl Jung and US Intelligence.

Hmmm. MKUltra anyone?

Supposedly Lee and Volkmar discussed the merits of Communism in English.

Or maybe they were discussing in German what a neat idea it had been for Vacuum Oil/SOCONY to aid Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in the 1930s.

Germans, you know, particularly ex Nazis, were brought over by our government after WWII and used for many purposes.

Ex-Nazis had particular sets of skills - skills in rocketry, petroleum exploration, spying to name a few.

In fact our leaders didn’t just bring Nazis over after World War II; they were practically in league with them before and during the war.

Actually they were in league with them.

The major industries and corporations that controlled Nazi Germany were one and the same with our major corporations here in the United States.

American industrialists sat on the boards of German companies like IG Farben and AEG (General Electric of Germany).

The tight relationship of our leaders and Adolf Hitler's regime has been well documented.

Of course our current crop of leaders prefer that you keep this quiet.

But you can check out this book right here: Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler: The Astonishing True Story of the American Financiers Who Bankrolled the Nazis by Anthony C. Sutton.

Indeed, one of Oswald’s father figures in Dallas was George de Mohrenschildt.

George de Mohrenschildt - a man who mingled in noble circles, a man in the oil business, a man reputed to be CIA -
was monitored extensively during the 1940s by the FBI and was felt to be an agent of German intelligence.

It would be logical to assume that George spoke German. Indeed he did.

So what do you think?

Do you still think Lee Oswald was Forrest Gump, a guy who meandered into Dealey Plaza by luck?
