Growing up, there were certain “salt-ting” that I relished. The occasional steamed Callaloo or steamed vegetables. But the one meal I have been hitching for is the cabbage and corned beef combination.
I found myself craving a plate of steamed cabbage with boiled banana and dumplings. But I settled for two slices of gluten free bread instead. To be honest, I am enjoying these moments when I cook up a simple meal as they remind me of Sunday mornings in the kitchen helping my mom to prepare breakfast.
