Three things I have learned in Jiu Jitsu

ONE: You must be humble. Doesn't matter if you have wrestled or boxed, Jiu Jitsu is a whole other art! Someone half your size can easily have you submitting from an arm bar, or many other techniques before you even know it.

TWO: Remain calm! This is hard when someone has you in a precarious position, but if you can keep calm in Jits - you can do it in any other area of life, with practice!

THREE: It is real self-defense! As stated in point 1, someone small in size can take down someone of really any size, with the right techniques and practices. As such it is one of the best arts for self-defense.

FOUR: The is a counter for everything. Any move has a counter move, some you want to act on quick in order for the counter move to work, this comes with practice.

FIVE: Anyone can do Jiu Jitsu. It builds confidence and you meet amazing people.
