A number of my students have been missing training due to life issues.
For the two that have been coming consistently we are picking up the pace.
I am letting the go 100% when the drill and roll against me as I am giving them positions to work on. I tell them that they are not to go that hard with their training partners.
This training is hard on my body as I got elbowed in the eye and slammed to the mat today. I have a black eye and a twisted ankle.
They feel bad about it but I told them that they have to feel what 100% is like and feel what is it like when you are not worried about your opponents safety.
With each passing week they are getting better at turning the switch on and off which will get the ready for competition.
