Do you know, it's quite easy sometimes to get hired? And, here's a little secret:
Did you know? It is not all job seekers that are filled with various exceptional skills. The person who gets hired RARELY "has it all". It is not the one with every skills or qualifications the employer is in search for. It's quite impossible finding everything you want in an employee. That's bitter, but the truth.
And, have you noticed? Sometimes, pretty often actually, the luckiest is not the the most skilled.
And, here's a big reason why:
Employers mostly hire someone who seemed honest, upfront and accountable in the interview room, this is achievable since most of the interviews are not only psychologists but also professionals…...
They prefer a straightforward fellow, even if it means offering the job to the one with LESS:
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS, and
TALENT
WHY?....
This is because all these mentioned above are the least, they discover them after you have been hired. It quite hard showcasing your talent, skills, and experience at the point of interrogation. But, little of your accomplishments and qualifications can be presented through submission of hard copies. Also, they say "first impression lasts longer" all these are USELESS, if you lack a good work ethic, or not "COACHABLE", not open to feedback, not humble just to mention a few. These can be discovered in just a few minutes of interrogation.
I'm sure you also know that a very talented individual who is not open to taking feedback, could be a future nightmare to his boss. And you know, this is the worst of it all which could cause a hard to accept phenomenon in the long run.
Keep this in mind, I'm sure it will be of advantage.
