The diligent ones' problem: How to solve it
The suffering of skilled employees at the office due to injustices has been one of the most overlooked problems for several decades.
The aggregate of such a situation is evident. Yet the present, thanks to freelancing, telecommuting, outsourcing, and paradoxically, the coronavirus disease pandemic, is preeminently a time for hopefulness.
I am not speaking of wages or salaries, but about the freedom of the sellers of services to choose their schedules, tasks, chores, gigs, etcetera, and to propose prices and fees to buyers.

The nowadays current of thought, the shift in work systems, creativity, innovation, have prepared the way for them to attain appreciation and recognition.
But to avail themselves of the new opportunities they must understand both the market and the flow of needs.
They must recognize and accept the facts and the new reality. They must consider the 21st-century course.
They have to pursue resolutely the paths they will decide upon, and be ever ready to consider making the necessary changes in their lifestyle.
What the problem is.
For them, the diligent ones, the problem means this: How can they (the skilled ones) secure, wherever they may live, a continuous flow of opportunities? Well, there is no such thing.
Notwithstanding the above-mentioned obstacle, there are good grounds to assert that the future might be bright for them.
Ponderation, organization, and planning ahead will be paramount factors towards the success they deserve.
They must put in practice their competitiveness.
—
Now, those EMPLOYEES who have not lost their job, if they enjoy the positive side of the Pygmalion effect ("high expectations lead to improved performance in a given area"), they are lucky indeed, but if some employees are suffering because they are in the dark side of such effect, they must endure or try to change their mindset in order to satisfy the expectations the leader, manager or employer has about them.
