Hello everyone,
I am a Graphic Designer (aspiring Art Director), who found herself at the bottom of the ocean after dealing with an "amazing" company who decided not to pay its employees anymore (up to this day I haven't seen any money).
So I started looking for the next role...
Everyone says how easy it is to apply to jobs, but I haven't heard much about how expensive it can get. Interviews cost money, and most companies don't even bother to give us a response/feedback after we've just spent £30 to get there.
Sadly this is the reality of today's job industry. We are made to feel disposable, because oh well, there's too many candidates anyway, why bother respecting them. So after spending a decent amount of money on transport to get to other cities, and printing CVs and portfolios, I found myself with only a few coins in my wallet, unable to get to my next job interview...
But I'm not giving up, I'm not letting negativity take over me, and I'm going to fight until I make it!
