Job boards are a waste of time!

If your like me and have looked for a job in the past few years you will notice a lot more job boards are posting jobs that don't exist. Not only are they posting jobs that don't exist, they are posting jobs that employers have no intention of filling. Company policies and the need to keep the appearance of a good economy are wasting applicants time and testing their patience. The application process has become drawn out and absolutely ridiculous. Between long, redundant applications and assessment tests, sending out one application can take up to 2 hours. Once you fill out all of this, you click send and off your resume goes to a giant black hole never to be heard from again!
If your like me, you don't like wasting time. Employers who constantly whine about not being able to find qualified employees have no one to blame but themselves. Not only are there plenty of qualified workers, there are plenty of people that need a job. Maybe employers should pay a little more to attract talent. Maybe they should tell their HR Managers to get off their ass and screen resumes that are coming in by truck loads. After all isn't that their job? Stop using screening processes that look for key words and apply a set of human eyeballs to find who you need! Let me know about your experiences with job hunting in the comments section below and happy hunting!
P.S. I would like to give a special thanks to AT&T for their service outage yesterday. (sarcasm)

I am job hunting and it sucks that I frequently get rejection letters mentioning how there were over 100 applicants for the job. The jobs I apply to are decent, but not really that great. So yes, 1 in 100 chance of getting through and landing the job..

But that's why I am upvoting like a maniac!! I will never have to work again muahahahaha

I also like how employers want someone with 5-10 years experience but they only want to pay entry level salaries. It seems you have to have experience and a college education (which I have) to do the most mundane jobs. Good luck on your job search and stay positive, you will find something!
